Our Mission
The mission of the Rocky Mountain MSDC is to drive the growth of Minority Business Enterprises through business relationships with corporations, government, academic entities, and others. In alignment with our mission, the Rocky Mountain MSDC facilitates greater access to the goods and services of minority-owned business for diverse corporate and government entities, thus fostering the development of lasting and mutually beneficial business relationships. The Rocky Mountain MSDC supports the development of minority-owned business enterprises in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and New Mexico and further provides business education and certification assistance for its Minority Business Enterprises.
Our Purpose
Providing a direct link between corporate America and minority-owned businesses is the primary objective of the National Minority Supplier Development Council, one of the country's leading business membership organizations. It was chartered in 1972 to provide increased procurement and business opportunities for minority businesses of all sizes.
Formed in March 1965, BSCAI is a trade association for the building service contracting industry with more than 2,000 member companies, including membership from 39 foreign countries. BSCAI represents companies who provide cleaning, building maintenance and other related services to building owners and managers. The association supports its members through providing training, education and outreach and represents the building service contracting industry worldwide.
Varsity has been active in BSCAI since 1974 and its leaders and managers attend annually various seminars, conventions and trade shows. They also serve on the board of directors and various committees. Varsity's President and CEO, Arlo D. Luke has served on the board of directors for three terms and served in 1997 as the President of the Building Service Contractors Association International.
